Advance registration for childcare is closed.

Childcare for on-site registrants will be provided each day until we reach our child care capacity.

Translation

Translation will be made available to pre-registrants that indicate translation needs on their registration forms, and to on-site registrants as available.  Be sure to indicate your translation needs on your registration form. More details coming soon.

Accessibility

As our principle of unity states SisterSong is committed to, “Protecting the human, reproductive and sexual rights of all peoples, creating space for those typically excluded.” We have worked diligently to ensure representation in race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, and ability throughout Let’s Talk About Sex! in our workshops, plenaries, and activities. There are a number of sessions that are dedicated to specific interests or areas, such youth leadership, LGBTQQI liberation, disability rights, and economic justice.

SisterSong has contracted with a hotel dedicated to accessibility for everyone. The Wyndham O’Hare Hotel is providing all-gender (or gender neutral) bathrooms in the conference and meeting areas of the hotel, indicated by signs on the bathroom doors. The Wyndham also has ADA wheelchair-accessible rooms and a wheelchair-enabled shuttle bus, which can be utilized when requested. We ask that if you have any special needs or requests or if anything is amiss, please bring it to our attention, so that we may address it. Additionally, if presenters have any questions about how to make their workshops or plenary presentations more accessible, please let us know!

SisterSong consistently partners with youth-led and LGBTQQI organizations and individuals with disabilities to identify ways in which to make SisterSong events and activities accessible to everyone. We also recognize that the work around accessibility for everyone will be an ongoing process; however, SisterSong maintains that through our efforts to “do collectively what we cannot do individually,” we offer a vision in which the human rights of everyone are respected and protected.
